Our ethos

Instructor-led activities are typically facilitated by qualified local volunteers and trainers in their field of expertise. Some workshops are delivered by outside trainers. We welcome approaches from relevant individuals and organisations.

As a Charity and community giving enterprise, where possible our instructors offer their services free of charge. This enables the Charity to operate on a limited budget and reach into parts of the Community which otherwise might be economically excluded or disadvantaged.
Budleigh Community Workshop Trust owns the building which is permanently secured for the Community. We are a not-for-profit organization. We have no payroll and rely on the goodwill of Volunteers giving back into the Community. This ethos sits at the core of our vision and values.

We recognize that the present economic climate is challenging for many including Charities and Service Providers. Therefore, we respect and understand that voluntary giving is not always possible. We will explore all options to make it work.
